IBFM Spotlight
A JOURNEY OF STRENGTH, SACRIFICE, AND SUCCESS
True strength is not measured by how easy the path is, but by the determination to keep moving forward despite the challenges. Some people rise against all odds, choosing perseverance over surrender, resilience over excuses. They turn obstacles into stepping stones and hardships into milestones.
One such person is Faith Amber Jugo, a mother, a student, an IBFM, and, above all, a woman who refuses to let circumstances dictate her future.
Her story is not just about juggling responsibilities. It’s about unwavering dedication, resilience, and the pursuit of something greater. It’s proof that with determination and love, success is always within reach.
Faith Amber Jugo lives in Cavite, with her husband and their two young children, a 5-year-old son and a 3-year-old daughter. Like any mother, she wants nothing more than to provide them with stability, security, and opportunities for a brighter future.
But dreams don’t just materialize on their own. They require sacrifice, commitment, and relentless hard work. Faith knew that if she wanted to create a better life for her family, she had to take action.
And so, she made a bold choice, to work and study at the same time.
Currently, Faith is pursuing ICT Programming at Informatics College, attending face-to-face classes four times a week. The road isn’t easy, but she embraces the challenge, knowing that education is the key to greater opportunities.
However, she also knew she needed financial stability while working toward her degree.
A Mother’s Determination to Change Her Story
FINDING INSBOSS: MORE THAN JUST A JOB
Faith’s journey with InsBOSS began on May 31, 2022, and, like many great stories, it was sparked by a simple conversation.
“I first heard about InsBOSS through my mom’s friend, who worked here. My mom asked if I’d be interested in joining, and when I heard that the job was permanent work-from-home, I immediately said yes. My first thought was, ‘No more riding buses or jeepneys every day? That would be amazing!’ The idea of working from home was a game-changer for me, and I knew I had to give it a shot.”
At the time, Faith wasn’t looking for anything extraordinary, just a way to earn a living while balancing her studies. But what she found at InsBOSS was something far more valuable than just a paycheck.
“I never expected the kind of flexibility and support I’ve experienced here. I never thought my clients would appreciate me as much as they do—especially for the small things. It’s been such a pleasant surprise. I thought this would be just another job, but it turned out to be so much more.”
InsBOSS became more than just a source of income, it became a place where she could grow, be recognized for her hard work, and build a stable future.
A Day in the Life: Strength in Every Moment
Balancing work, school, and family is not for the faint of heart. Every single day is a test of endurance.
Faith’s shift at InsBOSS ends just in time for a brief one-hour nap, a small but essential moment of rest before her next responsibilities begin.
Then, she steps into “mom mode.” She prepares her son’s school uniform, packs his lunch, and makes sure he’s ready for the day. Meanwhile, her husband, who also works nights as a virtual assistant, finishes his shift. Together, they drop their son off at school before Faith rushes to her own classes.
She spends five hours in school, absorbing every lesson, knowing that each one brings her closer to her goal. But when school ends, her responsibilities don’t.
She returns home not to rest, but to care for her children, cook, clean, and help her eldest with his homework. And before she knows it, the sun has set, and it’s time to clock in for another shift at InsBOSS.
Her schedule is relentless. The exhaustion is real. But through it all, she finds purpose and strength in her family.
“It’s tiring,” she admits. “But when I see my children happy and safe, I know I’m doing something right.”
FIGHTING THROUGH THE STRUGGLES
With such a demanding routine, it’s no surprise that Faith has faced moments of exhaustion and doubt.
Her biggest challenge? Her health.
“When I’m not feeling well, it becomes incredibly hard to keep up. I rely so much on my energy and focus, so when that’s taken away, everything else becomes harder.”
Yet, even in her weakest moments, she refuses to quit.
“There were times when I felt like giving up,” she confesses. “But in those moments, I turned to God. I reminded myself that He wouldn’t put me here if He didn’t believe I could handle it. That thought alone kept me going.”
Her biggest source of strength? Her family.
“My kids, my husband, and my mom. They are my biggest inspirations. They believe in me, even when I don’t believe in myself. Seeing their pride in my accomplishments makes everything worth it.”
THE POWER OF A SUPPORT SYSTEM
Behind every strong woman is an unshakable support system.
Faith’s husband ensures she has time to rest and study, even after working night shifts himself.
Her mother serves as her cheerleader, offering words of encouragement, small rewards for her achievements, and even financial help for tuition.
Her children have learned to adapt to her busy schedule—sitting beside her, coloring as she studies, reminding her that she’s never alone.
And then, there’s her InsBOSS family.
Faith has one friend in particular at work who checks in on her, keeps her accountable, and reminds her that she’s never alone.
“My family and friends are my lifeline. Without them, I don’t think I could do this.”
The InsBOSS Culture: A Place of Growth
For Faith, InsBOSS is more than just a workplace—it’s a community that has shaped her growth in ways she never expected.
“The openness, the accessibility of leaders, and the flexibility—it has made all the difference,” she shares. “If I need to take undertime or a leave, all it takes is a simple, honest conversation. There’s no fear of being judged, no unnecessary hurdles—just support. That kind of understanding makes it easier to focus on my responsibilities without added stress.”
Her growth was further reinforced when she was given the chance to intern at InsBOSS. An opportunity that filled her with gratitude.
“When I got the opportunity to intern, I felt overwhelming gratitude and excitement. It felt like coming home. I didn’t have to adjust to a new environment or learn a new culture—I was already part of something amazing.”
Being an intern at InsBOSS was a seamless transition because she had already embraced the values, mission, and culture of the company. The internship wasn’t just another task for her. It was a continuation of her journey of growth.
With the support and encouragement of her InsBOSS family, Faith knows she is in the right place, at the right time, surrounded by the right people. And that, in itself, is a blessing.
When Hard Work Pays Off
Faith’s journey is proof that perseverance leads to success. She is now just two months away from finishing Grade 12 in the ICT strand, consistently maintaining grades no lower than 87.
At InsBOSS, she upholds a perfect 100% QA score, proving her dedication to excellence.
Financially, she has achieved stability. Buying a brand-new motorcycle, renting a home, and furnishing it with essentials like a refrigerator, air conditioner, and washing machine, luxuries she once could only dream of.
But beyond material success, her most cherished milestone is getting married after seven years in a live-in relationship, finally solidifying the family life she worked so hard to build.
From someone who once just wanted to survive, she now thrives, achieving milestones she never thought possible.
Lessons of a Fighter
Through her journey, Faith has learned one powerful truth:
“With faith, determination, and the right support, anything is possible.”
Her message to fellow working students?
“It’s never going to be easy—but it’s always going to be worth it. There will be days when you’ll want to give up, but remember that every struggle brings you closer to success. Keep pushing forward. Your hard work will pay off.”
To IBFMs facing career challenges?
“Don’t lose sight of why you started. Challenges are opportunities in disguise. Trust in yourself, believe in your purpose, and never stop striving for more.”
IN ONE WORD: MIRACULOUS
If Faith had to sum up her journey in one word, it would be miraculous.
“Looking back, I see how much has changed. From just wanting to survive, I’m now accomplishing things I never thought possible. That’s why I call it miraculous—because I never imagined I could get this far.”
Faith Amber Jugo is living proof that perseverance, dedication, and faith can turn struggles into success. Her journey is not just inspiring. It is a reminder that miracles happen when we refuse to give up.
