CREATIVE FREEDOM

Expressing creativity through scale model building.

Aldo hails from Mindanao, Philippines. He is currently residing in his hometown in Cagayan De Oro city. He’s currently working as an Account Executive and he has been with InsBOSS since April 2023. Aldo loves creating beautiful things and he expresses his creative freedom through one of his passions: scale models.

He primarily works on Gundam model kits and Warhammer miniatures. He has been doing this hobby since 2006. He goes deep into the hobby beyond building the kit straight out of the box; he does parts modification, scratch building, custom painting, LED installation, and diorama making. He has participated in several local events displaying his cool projects.

Gunpla is an extremely popular line of mecha model kits that are made by Bandai. The name of the line comes from a portmanteau of the words “Gundam” and “Plastic Model (Plamo)”, and Gunpla are poseable model kits that are based on the various mobile suits of Mobile Suit Gundam franchise.

TANGIBLE ART

Bringing your imagination to life.

The beauty of scale model building is witnessing it taking shape and enjoying its finished form even more knowing that you have put great care and effort in assembling it. The building process is easy enough that even a kid (usually around pre-teen years) can do it. Scale model building is for people of any age and any background.

But if you have been building and collecting scale models for a long time, the next thing you have in mind is how to visualize your imagination and bringing it to life. This is where the exciting part comes in; you get to have the freedom to do whatever you want for your scale model. Bring in your signature design and breathe life into your project!

WORK-LIFE BALANCE

Make a living. Make a life.

“Being an Account Executive at InsBOSS is a rewarding and exciting role. Communication and interpersonal skills are some of my personal strengths which I fully utilize when engaging with my clients. However, as with other jobs, it can be challenging. We need to learn to recharge ourselves and keep in touch with other things that are close to our heart. That is why during my days off, I immerse myself in my hobbies and passions. It keeps me grounded, it makes me smile, and it allows me to enjoy the talents and gifts I have. Having rested your mind and body as well as having enjoyed your hobbies, you’ll come back to work with revitalized energies and a renewed sense of purpose.

Work-life balance can be achieved even when you work graveyard shifts. The key is proper time management, good sleeping and health habits, and being efficient with your routine and resources. Some of the core values of InsBOSS that I incorporate into my personal life are discipline and growth mindset. I make sure to stick to my routine to achieve work-life balance and maintain a growth mindset to continuously improve on my craft.” – AE Aldo

The InsBOSS promise.

InsBOSS ensures that its IBFMs get to fulfill their career goals at the same time enjoy their personal endeavors.

SIGNATURE DESIGN

Making a mark that lasts.

“My signature design has been continuously developed, applied, and repeated on every project I made. I have refined my building skills and my work flow throughout the years. It takes time to improve one’s craft; patience, creativity, resourcefulness, and hard work all come into play.

As I have explored various customization methods, building techniques, and researching for project inspirations, I learned that your signature design is more than the overall appearance of the model. Your work flow and processes make your project truly unique. Every scale model I make has core design elements integrated into the build.” – AE Aldo
